The popularity of CBD products is now at an all-time high, and if you ask me, I don’t think it’s about to come down anytime soon. From CBD vape liquids in exciting flavors to CBD tinctures; from super-effective pills to the best CBD topical/creams, we have them all! Though varied in the level of popularity, all these products have one thing in common – they work!
Hi guys, I’m Daniel, and in this guest post I’m going to straight up bust some myths; the myths surrounding CBD topicals and how they’re not useful. Believe me; I’ve used a wide variety of CBD creams, and I can safely say that they serve their purpose IF you choose the correct brand.
Aaron and I have been experimenting with CBD for quite a few years now. Even though we do not share the same opinion on many things, both of us believe that topicals are the way to go for those who do not want to ingest CBD (for whatever reason). If you are among those people, this guide will help you immensely!
What are CBD Salves/ topicals/creams?
In simple words, CBD topicals are lotions, balms, oils, and salves infused with the goodness of cannabis that is to be applied to specific parts of your body. They get absorbed quickly into your bloodstream and can show results within as little as a few minutes to an hour. It’s an excellent way to localize treatment.
As I said, topicals are a great way to take CBD for those who do not want to vape, dab, consume edibles, or take pills. You just to rub it in the affected areas and wait for the natural the effects of cannabidiol to kick in. Like always, you don’t have to worry about getting high because – 1) you’re not consuming anything, 2) there is no THC in CBD creams.
Using these products can be an excellent way to treat various physical problems such as joint pain, muscle soreness, dry skin, acne, and much more. Ask Aaron; he’ll no doubt vouch how much these creams have helped him control back pain from time to time. So, what are the “super-secret” products that we use?
Relax; they’re not secret at all. Keep on reading as I reveal them.
3 Best CBD topicals:
I’ll be honest with you; I’m only a hobby topicals user. Meaning, I try them out just for the heck of it, or for review purposes. While my first choices are always tinctures and capsules, I could never rule out how effective lotions can be when the right one is chosen. Fab CBD Topical 600mg is one of the right ones I’ve used, and undoubtedly the best!
In fact, there was a time I was so dependent on this product to treat muscle fatigue that I completely forgot that I need to be using tinctures as well. Here are some features.
- Made to treat joint and muscle pain, this product contains hemp oil of the finest quality
- The hemp plants from which oil is extracted and raised in Colorado’s best farms
- No pesticides and herbicides are used to raise the hemp plants
- Comes with a mild blood Orange scent and textures smooth enough to be absorbed by the skin
Several essential ingredients used in this product are coconut water, elevator, olive oil, coconut oil, cannabidiol, vitamin E, potassium sorbate, blood orange essential oil, and citric acid.
How was my experience?
I did mention that I am a hobby topical user, didn’t I? Well, I decided to try the Fab CBD Topical for the first time after being thoroughly impressed by Fab CBD capsules and tinctures. I said, “Hey, I’ve used every consumable CBD product out there, why not try topicals this time?”
And so there I was, rubbing a handful of lotion onto my back after a stressful day of work. The 12-hour pre-Christmas shifts at that time were truly taking a toll on my body, giving me frequent back pain during night time. Guess what happened when I applied this topical? After two hours, my back pain was gone, and I felt like I was ready for another grueling shift.
Okay, I was kidding when I said I was ready for another shift. But the point is: this product did its job and remarkably well. Even the wife couldn’t help but compliment the subtle smell of this cream.
Should you buy?
Of course! Fab CBD Topical is priced somewhat on the expensive side, but you do get 600 mg of it to use. Just be sure to really rub in the lotion; not just pat on the affected areas.
CBDistillery is one of the more renowned names in the CBD industry and for good reasons too. Every product they have manufactured so far, including CBDol Topical Salve has become a hit with the consumers. I couldn’t stop myself from giving in to the hype and bought myself a 500 mg bottle for some experimenting.
Aside from a trustworthy name, this company possesses the know-how and techniques needed to succeed in the CBD biz. The features should prove it beyond any reasonable doubt.
- The extracts used to make this CBD Salve are only taken from mature stems and stalks of hemp plants
- The end product is 100% pesticide free, Non-GMO, and safe to be used by everyone
- Contains essential oils that give the product a subtle and pleasing aroma
- Affordable by price and effective in results
This product includes wholesome natural ingredients such as hemp seed oil, coconut oil, olive oil, eucalyptus, Arnica, camphor, magnesium, Bees Wax, Tea Tree, and many more.
How was my experience?
After having a pleasant experience with a few other CBDistillery products, I couldn’t help but have high expectations for this one. Unlike Fab CBD, CBDistillery CBDol Topical Salve didn’t get to working on my muscle pain as soon as I applied it. I guess you could call it the ‘break-in period,’ but it took two days of applying before I saw results.
Did I lose hope in the meantime? Yeah, a little bit, but I also remembered that this comes recommended by Aaron himself. So, it was almost impossible to be left feeling disappointed. Try it; I can’t say for sure if you will also need two days to see results. The reviews I read undoubtedly share a more favorable experience.
To be fair, it’s nothing unexpected because we are talking about a product made of CBD. A substance that has variable effects on the human body.
Should you buy?
Absolutely! I wouldn’t be recommending this to you if I did not get any benefits. Besides, the product comes with 60-day money back guarantee and at a price that is similar to the level of fab CBD topical. CBDol Topical Salve 500mg is worth the price!
Aaron asked me to try out this product, and I did. That too without testing out the company’s more popular items such as topicals, pills, and edibles. The first thing that I found reassuring was that the faces behind this brand, Larry and Oksana Ostrovsky, had a credible track record of contributing in the health industry.
And of course, I was not disappointed by this product is specially formulated by the husband and wife duo. Keep on reading to find out why.
- This balm contains the blend of 13 different ingredients that penetrate deep into your muscles
- Hemp oil used – like in all major brands – are organically grown and are free of pesticides and herbicides
- This product claims to not only work on muscle and joint pain but also treat a myriad of skin conditions
The 13 complementing ingredients contained in this balm are Virgin Ucuuba Butter, Virgin Andiroba Oil, Virgin Ucuuba Butter, Lemon Peel Oil, Organic Rosemary Leaf Extract, Organic Sunflower Seed Oil, Nerolidol, Wintergreen Oil, Blue Mallee Eucalyptus Oil, Organic Calendula Flower Extract, CBD Hemp Oil, Copaiba Oil, and Candelilla Wax.

How was my experience?
Just as how I had expected. The first winning move Sol CBD made is that they put this balm on sale in bottles containing small quantities. Whereas Fab CBD Topical comes in a 600mg bottle and CBDistillery Salve in 500 mg, Sol decided to sell in quantity as little as 125 mg.
Now, you would think that 125 MG would cost less, but it’s almost the same as CBDistillery’s 500mg ($47 vs. $50). As far as the effects are concerned, I’d say they’re pretty damn good. So good that even my wife gave in to her temptations. And I’ll have you know that she almost exclusively uses prescribed medicine to treat her problems.
Aside from making my back pain vanish in a couple of hours, my wife got a smoother skin in just a few applications. Now, I don’t have any pictures to back up my claim (she doesn’t let me take them), but you can always do a bit of review hunting to see what I mean.
Should I buy?
Without a doubt! You can order a single bottle for $ 47 and if you like the results, buy three bottles at the price of $ 123. That’s a saving of $ 54! So, the wise choice would be to order in bulk for maximum savings.
